Spanish high-street retail giant Mango has launched a stunning sustainable capsule collection aptly called Mango Committed. The 45 piece sustainable collection champions the use of natural and recycled fabrics such as organic and recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and Tencel. Featuring Mathias Lauridsen and Raquel Zimmerman, the campaign is a dreamy vision of neutral tones and textures, set on the picturesque backdrop of the iconic La Maison Gaudet in France.
Mango Committed is part of Mango’s Take Action project — which is the company’s long term program to slowly transform their business model into a sustainable one. Down the line, Mango is aiming to reduce their water footprint and only use animal byproducts in their leather goods. When such a big fast-fashion entity such as Mango takes these small but necessary steps towards a sustainable future, it is a fantastic prelude of change in the industry, and one we can definitely get behind.
