In line with the call to be conscious consumers, Pinko launches their latest collaboration with Treedom on the #StartWithaTree Campaign. The collaboration aims to plant a “Pinko Forest” in Kenya this year, which will feature 10,000 Avocado, Mango, Macadamia, Banana, and African Cherry trees. Not only will the project impact the region’s environment in a positive way, it will also help the local community by supporting basic food needs, and creating sustainable agriculture-based livelihoods.
In addition to this, Pinko also bangs the drum for social responsibility with the launch of their exclusive T-shirt range that pushes consumers to take action for the environment through small but significant changes in their consumption habits. According to Pinko’s Founder and CEO, Pietro Negra, “We have the responsibility to support the dream of a world resurrected from this terrible state!” — and if we can do that with an organic cotton tee (in Eco-friendly packaging of course) why not? Every conscious purchase is a step towards the right direction.
